Responsibilities:

  • Capture transactions in accounting records.
  • Perform reconciliations.
  • Perform bookkeeping to trial balance.
  • Interpreting clients’ accounting records and compiling annual financial statements (IFRS for
  • SME’)
  • Performed tax calculations and completed income tax returns and provisional tax returns.
  • Perform VAT and PAYE calculations to submit returns on E-filing.
  • Assist Accountants with various client matters, including administrative work.
  • Resolve queries.
  • Performing tasks required in terms of the SAIPA competency framework.
  • Any other tasks related to the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Bcom in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, or an equivalent degree
  • Bcom (Hons) in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, or an equivalent degree
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary
  • Hardworking and deadline driven
  • Must be able to always display professional and ethical conduct.
