MIS and BI Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
• Manage data quality, governance, access controls, and reporting standards.
• Coordinate data integrations between business systems, e-commerce platforms, and third-party applications.
• Support business systems enhancements, testing, user adoption, and documentation.
• Lead reporting and analytics projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver information and system improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, workflow optimisation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, data definitions, and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Intelligence, MIS, Data Analytics, or Business Systems environments.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, information security, and access controls.
• Experience gathering business requirements and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

Advantageous Experience

• Retail, e-commerce, supply chain, or multi-site business experience.
• Exposure to workflow automation and AI-driven business solutions.
• Experience with product information management and data enrichment initiatives.
