Relevant Degree, PMP

Job Duties:

The PMO Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project management office and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. This includes developing and implementing project management processes, procedures, and tools, as well as providing guidance and support to project managers. The PMO Manager will also be responsible for managing stakeholders and communicating project status to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

A relevant degree and PMP certification are required for this role.

Education:

A relevant degree in project management or a related field is essential.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a PMO Manager role. Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in PMO management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional project management certifications or advanced degrees are preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time contract position based in Johannesburg. The PMO Manager may be required to work additional hours to meet project deadlines.
