  • Reconciling Accounts that have been escalated from the AR team
  • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
  • Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team
  • Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
  • Managing a book of debtor accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice payments
  • Highlighting potential debtor problems
  • Payment allocations and reconciling of accounts
  • Assist with reporting and other finance related functions if need be
  • Ensure Collections are on time and queries attended to promptly
  • Review and approve Credit Note requests ensuring their reasonability

Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good business acumen for problem solving
  • Experience with working on Accpac will be an advantage
  • Confidence to deal with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Excel and Microsoft outlook
  • 4-5 years experience within an AR and or credit control environment
  • Accounting knowledge
