Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Editing proofs to brand specifications and getting signoff/approval before finalising artwork.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to determine the project scope.
  • Developing multimedia/design content ideas across our channels (Online, in-Store, print).
  • Designing and producing attractive multimedia content according to website specifications.
  • Video animation, and text animations (Entry Level knowledge - advantageous)
  • Creating original artwork for digital image processing.
  • Performing media edits based on user feedback.
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary
  • Preparing mock-ups and presenting to Head of Marketing before deciding on a finalmdesign/concept.
  • Working and collaborating with the Head of Marketing, Store Managers and the Visual Merchandiser on marketing collateral
  • Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about progress of projects and any issues that may arise.
  • Working with external agencies to extend concept and visuals to other internal and external marketing-related material.
  • Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production facilities.
  • Ability to multi-task through working on multiple briefs at the same time.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor's degree/ diploma in graphic design or digital design
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role (Agency or in-house marketing department)
  • A complete portfolio of design content showcasing your skills and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of design programmes such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent knowledge of storyboarding and visual design principals
  • Artistic with a keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional creative flair and an innovative approach to all design projects
  • Excellent organisational, time and project management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
  • Teamwork skills because most projects require input from individuals with different roles
  • Self-development skills to keep-up-to-date with fast-changing trends professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
