Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair microwave communication systems and equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault analysis on microwave links.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Align and test antennas, waveguides, and associated transmission equipment.
  • Work with engineering teams to optimize system performance and implement upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Microwave Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of RF principles, wave propagation, and microwave systems.
  • Familiarity with microwave testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
  • Experience in installation, alignment, and maintenance of microwave antennas and transmission lines.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
  • Valid drivers license (if required for fieldwork).
