CTC: R25K-R30K per month Location: Blairgowrie, on site position Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Accountant to their Finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting by managing and analysing inventory movements across the business. You will play a key role in variance analysis, reporting, and collaboration with their Workshop teams, directly supporting executive-level decision making.Requirements Relevant Accounting / Finance degree (e.g., BCom Accounting, Finance or equivalent).Minimum 3 years’ work experience in an accounting role dealing with inventory managementStrong understanding of inventory accounting and its impact on financial statements.Proficient in Excel and ERP systemsExperience in retail, manufacturing, or FMCG environments will be highly advantageous.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure accurate recording and reconciliation of all inventory movements on the balance sheet.Compare actual product costs to the standard costs set by Workshop and perform detailed variance analysis.Partner closely with Workshop to identify, explain, and resolve variance drivers.Prepare and present inventory variance reports for EXCO.Conduct product-level analysis for production to determine variances and underlying causes.Support process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.Assist the Inventory Lead with ad hoc projects, reporting, and strategic analysis.If you have not received any feedback from us within 5 working days please consider your application unsuccessful.**By sending your CV along with other additional documents you give consent to HWR to process and retain your personal information for the current opportunity as well as for future opportunities**
