The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery while contributing to the companys growth in the dynamic e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing & Supplier Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers in China to source a wide range of products.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best deals for the business.
    • Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and company standards.
  • Procurement Operations:
    • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
    • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and avoid overstocking.
    • Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of products to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Product Quality & Compliance:
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Address and resolve any quality or supply chain issues promptly.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    • Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
    • Prepare and present regular procurement reports, including cost analyses and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs.
    • Stay updated on e-commerce industry trends and recommend new product opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably with exposure to sourcing from China.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required; the ability to speak Mandarin is highly advantageous.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of procurement tools and e-commerce platforms.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Adaptable and able to manage multiple products in a fast-paced environment.
