Our client is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join their team, dedicated to ensuring network infrastructure stability and security.

Your role as a Systems Administrator will be crucial in managing complex systems and optimizing their performance to uphold the IT infrastructure's integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise server and network systems to address any arising issues.
  • Implement solutions to enhance system performance and security.
  • Administer various software applications' configuration and maintenance to ensure security and updates.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to devise and execute strategic plans for system improvements.
  • Lead firewall and switch fabric administration.
  • Monitor WAN SDWAN links and failovers.
  • Resolve intricate infrastructure problems.
  • Be available for weekend or after-hours work when necessary.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in networking protocols like DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
  • Extensive experience in managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Networking, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, PowerShell Scripting, MS 365, and Network Security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Package & Remuneration:

Salary range: R50,000.00 - R65,000.00 before deductions, depending on qualifications and experience.
Medical Insurance: 50% coverage for the main employee.
