Hotel Concierge Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Hotel Concierge to provide exceptional guest service by anticipating and fulfilling guest needs. This includes assisting with reservations, transportation, activities, dining, and special requests, ensuring each guest has an outstanding experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist guests with reservations, transportation, activities, dining, and special requests.
  • Anticipate and fulfill guest needs to ensure an outstanding experience.
  • Provide expert local knowledge to assist guests in planning their stay.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or relevant hospitality training is a plus.
  • A Concierge certification (e.g., Les Clefs d'Or) is a plus, though not required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification may be beneficial.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Previous experience in a concierge or guest services role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong knowledge of local attractions, dining, and services.
  • Experience with concierge systems or software is an advantage.

Work Environment:

The role may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts depending on hotel operations.


What We Offer:

A competitive salary of R7500 plus commission (high commission earning ability)
