Were searching for a Sales Manager with experience gained within the civil engineering or liquid and gas pipeline concerns to manage and sell a respected brand of pipeline leak detection systems, tools, drain cleaning machinery, and utility location equipment to the water, wastewater, gas, and industrial sectors across Southern Africa.What Youll DoLead sales, operations, and service teams across SA & SADC; Drive growth, profit, and market share; Manage supplier relationships and product lines; Build long-term partnerships with municipalities, contractors & distributors; Oversee after-sales, stock, and technical support operationsQualifications and Experience:Sales experience gained within a technical environment, preferably gained in the civil engineering sector, piping, leak detection of water, sewerage, gas etc.Experience in managing sales in a technical environment Selling in a technical environment with a strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team Good leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting, negotiating, and collaborating with clients and sales teamsRole and Responsibilities:Leading the sales teamsCreate and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase market presenceCoaching and motivating sales staffAchieving sales targets, monitoring and analysing sales data, tracking key performance indicators, and adjusting sales strategy to meet targetsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, conduct market research to identify new opportunities, and monitor competitor activitiesReporting Line: Reports to the General Manager on day-to-day matters Reports to the Managing Director on sales and technical matters Liaises with Technical / Product ManagersSalary offer: Negotiable
