Warehouse SupervisorLocation: Nasrec, JohannesburgAre you an experienced warehouse professional ready to take on a leadership role within a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected industry leader, overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and driving accuracy, efficiency, and safety across all activities.Duties:As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all warehouse functions from receiving and storing goods to dispatching finished products. Youll ensure that inventory levels are accurately maintained, processes run smoothly, and all operations adhere to strict quality, safety, and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily receiving, storage, and dispatching of goodsMaintain accurate stock levels and perform regular stock countsOversee loading and offloading activities, ensuring accuracy and safetyOptimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiencyManage and mentor warehouse assistants, promoting accountability and teamworkEnsure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and health and safety regulationsMaintain proper documentation of all warehouse transactions and activitiesCoordinate closely with procurement and logistics teams for timely stock replenishmentAssist with investigations into inventory variances and prepare detailed reportsRequirements:Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent planning and organizational abilitiesHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyWorking knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelSound understanding of inventory management and stock control principlesPhysically fit and able to perform warehouse duties as requiredPerformance Measures:Stock accuracy and minimal varianceTimely and accurate dispatch of goodsWarehouse safety and compliance standardsTeam productivity and operational efficiencyThis position offers a stable and rewarding career path within a well-established organization known for its operational excellence and people-driven culture.
