Join us in shaping the future of insurance as we continue to innovate and exceed expectations in meeting the diverse needs of our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist underwriters in reviewing and processing insurance applicationsPrepare quotations, policy schedules, and endorsementsLoad client and policy information to the Company's operating system (Flexi / Cardinal)Obtain vehicle retail valuesAssist underwriters with client correspondence, including confirmations of cover and border travel lettersFile client records (physical and electronic)Manage documents and recordsPrepare annual renewals and policy reviews, including presentations and capturing terms on the Company's operating system (Flexi / Cardinal)Monitor and follow up on outstanding underwriting requirements, including risk requirementsMaintain organised records of underwriting decisions and correspondenceLiaise with brokers, clients, and insurers as neededRefer complex or high-risk cases to senior underwriters for approvalCompile reports when requiredProvide status updates on applications and policy changesPrepare policy and quote comparisons and presentationsLoad new tasks and workflow entriesCompile data for underwriting decisions or auditsContact potential leads and gather informationContact clients and manage arrears premiums when necessaryWork closely with other departments to ensure alignment of insurance processesEngage in continuous learning and developmentAdhere to company standard operating procedures and service level agreementsExperience and QualificationsMinimum 2 years of commercial underwriting experience in a binder broker environmentRE5 certificate, relevant NQF qualification, and CPD points requiredPrevious experience with Cardinal C360 requiredProficient in Word and ExcelLocationFourways, GautengPackage & RemunerationCurrent CTC less than R25 00.00 per month.
