Job Title: Piping and Mechanical Work Planner/Supervisor

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in piping and mechanical work planning or supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping layouts, and construction processes.
  • Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and solve problems under pressure.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scheduling and resource allocation, for piping and mechanical work.
  • Supervise on-site teams to ensure work complies with quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
  • Perform material take-offs and ensure timely procurement of piping and mechanical components.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and resolve any on-site challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to provide updates and implement project improvements.
