Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
  • A bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-10 years proven experience in piping systems design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in piping design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II).
  • Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems on-site to ensure compliance with engineering designs and project standards.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the quality and integrity of materials and installations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and optimize workflows.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to guide on-site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in risk assessments related to piping systems.
