WIP Clerk

• Issuing of Coils to the relevant job cards, within an hour of receipt.
• Use the Coil availability report or Syspro to determine material availability
• If there is material available, change the priority of the job card to 2 and take it to the factory
• If there is no material available, Change the priority to 4 and take it to the Planner
• Create all slitting, testing and embossing jobs
• Make copies and give to the Stock Control supervisor
• Take the actual jobs to the Coil Handler to find coil
• On completion of job, report on jobs to be checked
• Advise relevant party of job completion
• Follow up on Priority 9 Job Cards
• Assist in the preparation of Stock Take a week in advance
• Participate in Quarterly Stock Takes according to the published list for each stock count
• Assist with weekly cycle counts
• Assist the Planning Manager with ad-hoc items as and when required.
• Assist with work when other employees are off duty.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Matric
• Computer Literate in Microsoft Office and Syspro
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to handle high volumes.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good Communication Skills
• 1 year work experience as a WIP within a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year work experience within the roofing industry.
• Excellent Communication Skills
