The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

BBBEE Compliance:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with BBBEE legislation, codes of good practice, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess adherence to BBBEE policies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit BBBEE compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.
Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement BBBEE strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analyse current BBBEE initiatives and recommend enhancements to promote economic empowerment and transformation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to BBBEE to ensure the organization remains competitive.
Data Analysis:
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to BBBEE initiatives, including employment equity, ownership, skills development, and enterprise development.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and areas of opportunity through data analysis to drive decision-making and strategy development.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, procurement, finance, and legal departments, to ensure alignment and integration of BBBEE initiatives into business processes.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, industry associations, and BBBEE verification agencies, to stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments.
Training and Awareness:
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on BBBEE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Raise awareness about the importance of BBBEE initiatives and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and economic empowerment within the organization.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Matric
  • Degree or Diploma
  • In-depth knowledge of BBBEE legislation, codes of good practice, and compliance
requirements.
