Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on technical product and advice-related matters.
  • Manage the large case review process , present findings to senior management, and continuously improve the process.
  • Provide technical support to advisers on complex product and advice-related queries.
  • Collaborate with product providers to maintain competitive product offerings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on strategic distribution projects.
  • Conduct product and product provider due diligence in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Draft and review communications for marketing and advisory purposes.
  • Facilitate technical training for the Adviser Development Programme.
  • Provide ongoing technical advisory support to advisers and distribution teams.
  • Contribute to relevant committees focused on technical advisory and distribution activities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • NQF5 qualification or relevant short-term insurance qualification.
  • 7+ years'' experience in personal and commercial lines within the short-term insurance industry.
  • Exposure to underwriting and claims processes .
  • Experience working at EXCO or senior management level .
  • Experience collaborating directly with financial advisers .
