With a focus on growth and integrity, they offer a dynamic environment for skilled professionals to thrive.The Role: Personal Lines Claims HandlerThe Claims Handler will be responsible for accurate and efficient administration of claims while ensuring high levels of client service and relationship management. The role requires strong product knowledge, compliance awareness, and a proactive approach to communication with clients, brokers, and underwriters.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and process claims accurately and in line with policy terms and service level agreementsProactively communicate with clients, brokers, and stakeholders to provide updates and maintain relationshipsEnsure compliance with FAIS, FSCA regulations, POPIA, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principlesCapture, verify, and maintain all documentation and records with attention to detailIdentify and report suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or dishonestyGenerate reports and maintain quality assurance processesCollaborate with internal and external parties to ensure efficient claims resolutionMaintain knowledge of insurance products, providers, and competitor offeringsAbout You3+ years experience in short-term insurance claims handlingStrong knowledge of insurance products, classes of insurance, and industry practicesExcellent communication and client relationship management skillsHigh attention to detail with strong administration and record-keeping abilityAbility to analyse, make sound decisions, and manage multiple tasks effectivelyStrong compliance awareness with FAIS accreditation and CPD hours up to dateProfessional, organized, and client-focused with a growth mindset
