As the HR Clerk, you will assist management with various HR tasks. This role is for a person who enjoys responsibility, can think on their feet, works accurately, is discreet, and respects the confidentiality of the 200 workforce. The position is based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and ideal if you want to develop and grow.

Requirements:

  • Matric with an HR certificate, diploma, or degree
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience within the HR/Payroll space
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to work well under pressure meeting deadlines
  • High understanding of confidentiality
  • Eye for Detail
  • Team player

Duties:

  • Compile Employee Reports Policies and Procedures
  • Processing of payroll and provident fund - correct payroll information to process weekly wages and monthly administration salaries
  • Capture provident fund data - monthly
  • Assist employees with payroll and provident fund/pension enquiries
  • Support for payroll requirements and payslips to be printed and distributed to staff weekly and monthly - different payrolls
  • Process, Verify, and Maintain Personnel Documentation
  • Manage a smooth new employee onboarding process
  • Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents, including applicant/employee files, and payroll records for completeness, accuracy, and submission standards.
  • Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.
  • Management of Leave requests and authorization of Leave. (Annual, sick and family responsibility).
  • UI19 forms
  • Assist in Arranging Training Activities
  • Manage risk by being compliant with RSA Labour Laws and recommendations. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
