Job briefWe are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the companys supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Managers duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.ResponsibilitiesDiscover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnershipsNegotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous termsApprove the ordering of necessary goods and servicesFinalize purchase details of orders and deliveriesExamine and test existing contractsTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessCollaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the companyForesee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clientsExpect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategiesPerform risk management for supply contracts and agreementsControl spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costsRequirements and skillsProven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of ProcurementKnowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the marketTalent in negotiations and networkingGood knowledge of supplier or third party management softwareAptitude in decision-making and working with numbersExperience in collecting and analyzing dataStrong leadership capabilitiesDegree / Diploma in supply chain management, logistics or business administrationPlease note that: Suitable candidates will receive an application form via email.By submitting your CV you accept that we will retain your CV in our database in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Policy.Should you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful for this spesific advertised position.We will however contact you once we work on a more suitable role matching your skillset and our clients requirements, hopefully very soon.Thank You.
