We strive to harness solar power for a sustainable future and are seeking a dedicated and experienced PV Engineer to join our innovative team.Job Overview:The PV Engineer will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of photovoltaic solar projects. Leveraging 5 years of experience in the solar energy sector, this role will involve leading technical project activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of efficient, cost-effective, and high-performance solar systems.Key Responsibilities:System Design and Engineering:Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal system design.Develop and optimize PV layouts and electrical schematics.Select appropriate equipment (e.g., modules, inverters, racking systems) and assess compatibility.Utilize PV design software (such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar) to model and simulate system performance.Project Development and Coordination:Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and contractors to ensure projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.Prepare technical documentation, including electrical single-line diagrams, string layouts, and other necessary plans for permits and interconnections.Oversee project milestones, risk assessments, and engineering compliance with industry standards.Quality Assurance and Performance Analysis:Conduct inspections and tests to verify system quality, reliability, and safety.Monitor system performance post-installation and troubleshoot any issues.Analyze performance data and make recommendations to improve efficiency and maximize energy production.Compliance and Safety:Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as compliance with industry standards and best practices.Implement and promote safety protocols on-site and during project execution.Qualifications:•PREFERABLE Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.•Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PV solar project engineering.•Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).•In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical codes, and construction safety standards.•Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical challenges in project design and implementation.•Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.•Certifications (such as NABCEP or equivalent) are a plus.Salary offer: Negotiable
