The company operates across the full value chain - from production to processing and distribution - and is committed to excellence, innovation, and transformation across its operations in South Africa and other African markets.The successful candidate will lead the organisations external reporting and technical accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, JSE Listings Requirements, and the Companies Act.This is a senior, highly visible role requiring a technically strong CA(SA) with experience in listed environments, deep IFRS expertise, and strong leadership capabilities.Duties:Lead preparation and review of annual and interim consolidated financial statements.Oversee the integrated annual report and interim reporting in line with KING IV governance standards.Ensure full compliance with IFRS, JSE, and industry reporting requirements.Manage external audit processes and deliverables.Prepare and review technical IFRS position papers and interpret new standards.Review JSE circulars, SENS announcements, and statutory filings (including iXBRL).Provide technical accounting guidance across the Group.Maintain internal accounting manuals and deliver IFRS training.Mentor and develop a team of technical finance professionals.Support M&A, valuations, and strategic finance projects.Collaborate with senior executives on governance and technical matters.Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12)BCom Accounting BCom Honours / CTA CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles510 years experience in a technical accounting or reporting role within a JSE-listed environment.Big Four audit background (advantageous).Expertise in IFRS, financial consolidation, and JSE reporting.Experience with IFRS 9 and complex financial instruments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with reporting systems advantageous. Skills & Competencies:Deep technical knowledge of IFRS, the Companies Act, and JSE Listings Requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpretive skills.Excellent communication and presentation ability.High levels of integrity and professionalism.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
