  • Minimum qualification: Professional registration of Safety Officer or Safety Manager (SACPCMP Registered Non-Negotiable), or in the process of being registered is required
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in office/on site is required with in depth knowledge and experience on occupational health and safety act and related legislation
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in construction industry is beneficial
  • Ability to provide and oversee systematic, comprehensive and outcome orientated tasks with proficiency and displaying excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to enforce all designing, implementing and managing effective health and safety protocols, and promoting these and efficiently
  • Ability to support team, and disciplinary/corrective recourse when these protocols are not adhered to
  • Ensure that the CEO is informed regularly in terms of business cash flow and contract issues
  • Ability to oversee and manage health and safety measures and ensuring that risks are addressed at senior management level, where appropriate
  • Building and maintaining HSE management systems with the knowledge of building, and auditing safety files with comprehensive risk assessments
  • Ability to rule out comprehensive risk assessments, and write up incident investigations efficiently
  • Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Must have own reliable transport and driver's license
  • Expert ability to work on MS Office suite
