We are seeking for a talented JavaScript Node PHP Developer with strong experience and passion for building cutting edge tech & applications. Requirements: Fluent English-speaking, including Business reading and writingInformation Technology QualificationMin. ~ 3 years working experience with IT Observability Systems like Grafana, Prometheus, NagiosMin. ~ 6 months working experience in OpenTelemetryExperience in configuration/development of IT Observability solutionsDeep knowledge/understanding of OpenTelemetry framework, open-source technologies like Grafana (Tempo, Loki, Mimir), Prometheus and Nagios as monitoring toolsIn-depth working knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Platforms - Operating systems like Linux and Windows, Networks, Platforms like Databases, Web technologies, and Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google)Experience in Shell scripting, Perl, Python and a higher programming language e.g. Java or .NETExperience with ITILExperience in Devops methodologies and CI/CD tools like GitHub/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Nexus/GitHub ActionsComfortable in using Git commands on Linux/Unix and WindowsAny additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM)Team CharterExcellent Communication skillsAbility to relate to a variety of Stakeholders at different organisational levelsStrong interpersonal skills, including Intercultural understandingAble to work under pressure and be resilient in stressful situationsMust be self-motivated and open to learn and work independentlyProactive and be able to provide new ideas for improvement of processesFlexibility to take up different tasks in the team and be a team player Reference Number for this position is GZ60033 which is a permanent position based in West Rand offering a cost to company salary of R600k per annum
