Junior Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Pro-active and continuous assembly line improvement through monitoring, evaluation and change implementation Provide training and support to plant operating staff to ensure compliance with processes and standardized work Monitor and action production line concerns daily (outcomes of SFM) Problem solving, corrective and preventive actions documented and implemented. (repeat machine failures; FMEA; Control Plan; 8D; A3) Liaise with production, quality, process and suppliers to resolve engineering, design and process problems timeously New equipment planning, installation and commissioning and process change implementation on line Assist with customer concerns and product, process and system audits Ensure applicable documentation is updated and point of change is documented for all changes. (FMEA; CP; WI; Change Log) Cycle time evaluation and population of WBC with applicable derived outcomes planned and implemented. Immediately escalate equipment or processes resulting in unsafe work condition or nonconforming products. Support emergency demands and after hours work as may be required Job Requirements: Grade 12 or Matric Certificate NDIP Electrical / Mechatronic / Industrial or Related Qualification 3-year automotive industry experience is a mustFMEA / Control PlanStandard Work Cycle Time Analysis Familiarity with basic machine, process design & ergonomics
