Job Title Junior Process Operator **Requirements**: - National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology ; - NQF Level 4 Chemical Plant Operations and and at least 1 year internship/ in-service training from petrochemical/ Oil & Gas refinery industry; - An open-minded and positive character; - Attention to detail; - The ability to work as part of a team; - Availability to work shifts. **Responsibilities**: - Operating production apparatus and devices in line with safety standards and production standards; - Ensuring production continuity and execution of production plan; - Providing knowledge related to technology and process; - Taking an active role in creating and updating manuals; - Supporting creation of production reports; - Informing about low stock of production materials; - Cooperation with the maintenance team; - Supporting Clariter's R&D; - Taking an active role in Clariter's process optimization and improvement programs; - Supporting business development by involving knowledge into the business processes; - Actively attending meetings; - Initiating actions to stimulate (explore) and continue (exploit) ideas; - Do standby(Fire watch) duties during hot-work and confined space entry; - Conduct plant inspections on shift basis; - Report any incidents/accidents to the Board operator/shift manager; - Conduct gas tests using explosive meter as directed by the shift manager; - Log all critical shift occurrences in the shift log-book; - Conduct start-ups and shut-down on process equipment as directed by shift manager/board operator - Taking an active role in the process of new products development; - Supporting the Management by involving knowledge about the Products into Clariter’s business; - Housekeeping during the shift.
