An experienced General Manager Enterprise Architecture is required to provide enterprise architecture framework and roadmap for all information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems for current and future use across the organization in Johannesburg on a permanent basis.Minimum Requirements:B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering/Business Administration/Business Management at NQF7 with 360 creditsMinimum 10 years extensive experience as an enterprise architect for IT and OT systems in a large and complex organizationKnowledge of Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) and Total Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks and building blocksMiddleware business architecturesApplication Program Interface Designs (API)Business, process, application, network, infrastructure database architectureStrong financial and business acumenRisk analysis capabilitiesStrategic, critical and analytical thinkingDecision-making abilitiesProject and contracts managementStrong design and framework planningStrong integration mappingStrong innovation capabilitiesStrong problem-solving skillsFuturistic plannerStrong communication and networkingIntegrity, honesty, trustworthiness, professionalism, accountabilityKey Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps identifying and prioritizing strategic enterprise architecture initiatives driving business successCreate and maintain IT/OT architecture roadmap reflecting organization's strategic designs and integration pointsEvaluate emerging IT and OT technology and drive innovationDevelop strategies for integration of various IT and OT systemsMap roadmaps for future IT and OT systems to be used in architecture roadmapsEstablish and maintain architectural IT and OT frameworksMap roadmaps for IT and OT legacy decommissioningConduct research identifying new and emerging technologies benefiting organizationMonitor technology trends, industry developments and innovations to stay aheadEvaluate potential impact, benefits and risks of emerging technologiesConduct feasibility studies determining how new technologies can be integratedCreate strategic roadmap for innovation aligned with organizational goalsPromote culture of creativity and experimentationLead change management efforts ensuring smooth adoption of innovative technologiesEnsure integration strategy supports business long-term goals and operational requirementsConduct comprehensive assessment of current IT landscapeIdentify gaps, redundancies and inefficiencies in current EAEvaluate existing and emerging technologies facilitating seamless integrationDevelop architectural frameworks and blueprints outlining how different IT and OT systems will be integratedEstablish standards, protocols and best practices ensuring consistency and interoperabilitySupport request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) evaluation teams
