About the role
The Finance Administrator Intern will provide essential support to the finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. The role includes assisting with bookkeeping, invoicing, data entry, and financial reporting while gaining valuable on-the-job training and mentorship. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and numerically skilled individual looking to build a career in finance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Support in reconciling financial transactions and preparing reports
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Assist with payroll administration and expense tracking.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
  • Liaise with vendors and clients for financial queries.
  • Support in data entry and financial system updates.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements:
  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the programme before.
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (current student or recent graduate).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (advantageous).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with financial data accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
