As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead the application lifecycle, including planning, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. You will design robust, reusable architectures, research and integrate emerging technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Key responsibilities include writing efficient and maintainable code, developing and testing backend systems, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and overseeing DevOps processes. You will also debug complex issues, optimize database performance, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, contribute to recruitment, and promote best practices through peer reviews and knowledge sharing. Effective communication with stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and providing insightful project updates are integral to the role. Finally, you will manage databases, lead infrastructure enhancements, and safeguard system integrity and data.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in professional software development (12 – 24 months experience with Golang)
  • Qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
  • Certification in Programming is advantageous
  • Programming & Development Experience: Golang, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, multiprocessing (threading, synchronization, locks).
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases
