As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, youll be embedded in a hands-on project team, supporting cost control, tendering, and contract administration across a range of building and civil engineering projects.Youll work closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, gaining exposure to all phases of the project lifecycle, from tender to final account, while developing your skills in real-world environments.This is more than an entry-level job, its a launchpad for a high-performance construction career.Key Responsibilities:Assist with cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)Support tender analysis and subcontractor pricing reviewsHelp manage payment applications, valuations, and variation claimsTrack and monitor project costs to support budget alignment and profitabilityContribute to cost reports, forecasts, and site meetingsLearn how to navigate and administer standard construction contracts (e.g. JBCC and FIDIC)Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to gain practical insightEnsure that accurate documentation and cost data is maintained throughout the projectJob Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction ManagementExceptional University results02 years relevant industry experience (Graduates and Junior Quantity Surveyors encouraged to apply)Basic understanding of cost management and construction processesFamiliarity with standard form contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, etc.) is a plusProficiency in MS Excel; exposure to software like CCS Candy or BuildSmart advantageousValid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sitesDriven Graduates or Junior Quantity Surveyors ready to hit the ground runningFast learners who take initiative and arent afraid to ask questionsTeam players who thrive in high-performance environmentsDetail-focused professionals who take pride in accuracy and accountabilityClear communicators who want to grow their confidence and technical abilityIndividuals who treat construction as a career, not just a jobIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
