Role overviewThe role of the intermediate UX Designer is responsible to work closely with their assigned squads and the associated Design Lead from those squads to deliver on objectives.Design visually appealing and user friendly (digital) interfaces for the new servicesThe Intermediate UX Designer will play a key role in shaping the user experience of the company's digital products. This role involves conducting user research, creating user flows, and collaborating with other designers and developers to ensure a seamless user experience. Responsibilities and KRA’s User experience, user interface and interaction design planning and management on all platforms.Analyses online business process flows.Demonstrated ability to create engaging user experiences that improve the overall user experience.Demonstrated ability to understand UX fundamentals and principles.Creating wireframes, sitemaps, process and screen flows designs.Creating product prototypes and user stories and acceptance criteria.Developing personas and usage scenarios.Translates user feedback and business requirements into user interfaces.Recognises and helps define the differences between the platforms and how it directly affects the user experience in each.Ensures consistency of the user experience, regardless of the platform.Works close with the multiple development teams to ensure accuracy of the final product to those of the product specs Uses analytics to gain insight to customer/user behaviour to improve UI.Capable of managing user testing process.Capable of doing user testing.Provides user testing reports.Ability to define visual elements, product elements and overall design. CompetenciesStrategicExecutingCustomer First mentalityInnovativeLeading with Influence‘Forever Learning’Analytical thinking and problem-solvingStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to balance user needs with business goalsKnowledge of interaction design and information architectureBasic understanding of financial products and services3-5 years of experience as UX DesignerExperience within the Financial Industry advantageousInteraction Design is a bonusBachelor’s degree or similar in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related fieldBuilt or managed a design systems teamPortfolio of design projects experience designing UX and UI solutions for both mobile and web-based designSound Knowledge and Experience in FigmaUnderstanding of Agile PracticesBuilt or managed a design systems teamPortfolio of design projects
