An opportunity for a (pre / post graduate / experienced) (BTech / BSC Mech Eng / PR-Eng) MECHANICAL ENGINEER is required for permanent employment based in Johannesburg for the Environmental Engineering & Manufacturing industry.

NON-NEGOTIABLE APPLICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (will include):

  • Engineering & Manufacturing (Environmental industry exposure)
  • Project Management

  • Experience in working with EPCM
  • Ventilation Design & Calculations
  • Exothermic Calculations
  • CFD Modelling
  • Pressure Drop Design Calculations.
  • Abrasion Calculations.
  • HVAC

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Position will report to the Engineering Manager
  • Ventilation Design calculations
  • Exothermic calculations
  • CFD Modelling
  • Pressure Drop design calculations.
  • Abrasion calculations.
  • HVAC
  • Project Management
  • Willing to learn the technical sales function / role of the Environmental Engineering industry

For Graduates: Industry and work-related mentorship will consist of;

  • 10% Site visits
  • 20% Design
  • 20% Technical support
  • 40% Technical sales
  • 10% Administration

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • BTECH or BSC Mechanical Engineering Degree (Pre/Post Graduate)
  • PR-Eng certified (Advantageous)
  • Project Management
  • EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management)
  • Min 3-5 Years exp/exposure in the same role and industry (req)
  • Auto CAD, Inventor
  • CFD modelling
  • Microsoft Office
  • Drivers licence
  • For graduate applications : Transcripts and / or achieved qualifications (& certificates) are required to be submitted with your professional updated CV with a professional photo of yourself included.
