Job Title: Scrum Master
Employment Type: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Work Model: Fully Remote

JOB CONTEXT:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to guide our team through Agile processes, including Scrum ceremonies, and ensure adherence to Scrum best practices. You will collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog, remove obstacles, and foster continuous improvement. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and Agile expertise are essential for success in this role. THE JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage a variety of partners and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members on Agile practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of and background with agile concepts, framework methods single team and overall environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have general IT Development and Systems Knowledge.
  • Good knowledge about software development methodologies and practices, experience with software development.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Ability to perform the minimum required physical and mental requirements of the function.
  • Leadership behaviours as per LEAD.
  • Ability to speak German advantageous.
Outputs:
  • Manage and coordinate Agile ceremonies for (multiple) teams.
  • Coordination and consultation with business partners and process experts in local and international locations.
  • Demonstrate an ability to foster an environment for ideation, prototyping and production.
  • Initiate, develop and maintain a range of working relationships, within IT, the business and Centre of Competence (CoC).
  • Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog.
  • Track and report on team progress and performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Design, research, develop, analyse and suggest appropriate Agile concepts as well as strategies.
  • Performing all outputs in compliance to the Company's Integrity Codes & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and requirements to ensure compliance standards of quality, security, extensibility etc.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Qualification:
  • Minimum NQF 7 BSC/BCom/BTech in Information Technology or B. Eng. (Industrial Engineering) or relevant Agile/Scrum certification equivalent.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required, SAFe Scrum Master certification advantageous.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in IT in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Agile Hive, Mural or similar.
  • Knowledge of production and logistics processes in the automotive industry will be beneficial.
