IntroductionWe are seeking a Reliability & Qualification Engineer to strengthen our client’s Hardware Engineering team. This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about testing the limits of technology and ensuring mission-critical systems perform reliably under extreme conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading qualification testing efforts, ensuring that developed units meet stringent defence and aerospace standards.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the execution of product qualification testing, working closely with technicians and engineering teamsDraft detailed qualification test procedures in compliance with relevant environmental and performance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704)Manage readiness of test infrastructure and liaise with both internal teams and external testing facilitiesOversee and conduct qualification testing activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and complete data collectionAnalyse test results, identify root causes where issues arise, and provide engineering feedback to design teamsCompile and present comprehensive qualification test reports for formal review and sign-offContribute to continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processesTravel to off-site testing facilities as requiredDesired Experience and QualificationsBEng or BTech in Electrical or Electronic EngineeringMinimum of 2 years’ experience in testing, reliability, or qualification engineeringStrong knowledge of electronic engineering principlesHands-on experience with environmental and functional qualification testing methodologiesFamiliarity with aerospace and defence standards, including DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-704Ability to interpret and apply test procedures, reports, and technical specificationsSoft Skills:Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilityEffective communication skills for cross-functional collaborationA proactive team player with a positive, results-driven attitudeAbility to manage multiple testing cycles and deadlines simultaneously
