The position involves leading Architecture within Digital Technology (DT) across the Operational Technology (OT) sector. The primary objective of this role is to identify new technologies and design effective platforms to deliver the expected business value through robust architectural principles.
Scale: Extensive global reach, engaging with various levels (including top management), and delivering considerable value with potential outcomes worth millions of dollars.
Responsibilities include creating a unified architecture encompassing information, data, applications, and technology layers to seamlessly realize enterprise and OT strategies by formulating essential models and practices that outline the current and future architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the complete lifecycle of technology solutions architecture, from gathering requirements to vendor selection, design, costing, and exploring non-functional possibilities
  • Exceptional teamwork skills within complex client environments, supplier interactions, and dispersed virtual teams
  • Managing IT / OT infrastructure and application services efficiently in multinational corporations
  • Leading delivery processes involving external suppliers and offshore resources
  • Devising technology and system strategies and roadmaps aligning with business objectives
  • Developing effective standards and policies governing IT / OT operations
  • Engaging with diverse stakeholders across a multicultural and geographically dispersed organization
  • Demonstrating business acumen and financial expertise
  • Mentoring and nurturing team members' professional growth
  • Participating in the global process of overseeing new technology concepts and demands, providing research, analysis, design reviews, and recommendations to the leadership
  • Offering design support to projects and business units to ensure the delivery of efficient and secure technology architectures
  • Proactively managing key global stakeholders in a matrixed organizational structure by fostering trust and collaboration
  • Collaborating with the team to identify, select, and implement suitable solutions
  • Monitoring and researching emerging innovations to identify potentially beneficial functionalities


Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Proficient in vertical, applications, and business design processes, serving as a lead architect to integrate client and multidomain aspects (technology and geography)
  • Possessing extensive knowledge in Enterprise Architecture, Managed Services, Service Management consulting, and diversified solution areas across business units, domains, delivery units, and regions
  • Understanding, influencing, and designing organizational structures, capabilities, processes, and operating models
  • Awareness of how technology solutions are impacted by various business scenarios
  • Capable of refining service schedules and SLAs, developing them to contract quality, and integrating them into the master services agreement
  • Proficient in formulating service transformation architecture to support business transformation initiatives, investments, activities, deliverables, schedules, and risks across all service delivery aspects
  • Applying fundamental knowledge of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, SLAs, IT services, Policies, and Process management
  • Demonstrating expertise in a wide range of IT systems and application types
  • Defining organizational service and product catalogs or acting as a formal liaison to the product division, providing structured inputs for product evolution
  • Applying expertise in Information Security and Quality management through the application of security principles
  • Utilizing knowledge of service delivery models, technologies, process enhancements, reference architectures, design thinking, and architecture frameworks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT / OT related fields
  • 8+ years of experience in a corporate IT / OT environment, holding senior leadership positions
  • Over 8 years of expertise in IT / OT technology architecture
  • Experience in a relevant technical field such as application development, deployment/implementation, or infrastructure

Architecture Implementation Definition:

  • Validating and prioritizing the enterprise architecture implementation and migration plan
  • Confirming the phases and increments for transitioning the enterprise architecture
  • Defining governance for enterprise architecture implementation
  • Updating the architecture Repository
  • Compiling the enterprise architecture implementation roadmap
  • Obtaining approval for the architecture roadmap
  • Defining governance for domain architecture implementation
  • Compiling the domain architecture implementation roadmap
  • Validating and prioritizing the domain architecture implementation and migration plan
  • Confirming the phases and increments for transitioning domain architecture
