We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Associate Vendor Manager - Retail at Amazon. This role involves collaborating closely with strategic vendor partners to elevate their businesses through various strategies. From developing joint business plans to optimizing supply chain processes, this position is both strategic and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the 'business owner' for vendors, understanding internal and external factors affecting the business
  • Forecast, monitor, and report on vendor performance, driving supply chain projects and promotions autonomously
  • Negotiate costs and promotional opportunities for vendors independently
  • Analyze pricing and ROI to optimize profit margins
  • Manage Purchase Orders and In-Stock analysis for strategic brands
  • Optimize online presence and content for each product
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to boost brand awareness and sales
  • Lead cross-category initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
This role provides a gateway to the world of online retail, offering exposure to merchandising, marketing, buying, planning, and more. It opens doors to future opportunities in Merchandising, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years background in buying, account management, product management, or related fields
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience in data analysis for decision-making

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in supply chain, strategy, brand management, or finance
  • Strong presentation, organization, and account management abilities
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Project management expertise
  • Aptitude for driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience in business analysis and P&L management
