Employing over 650 staff members, ARB provides a wide range of internationally recognized and SABS approved products across three main categories – power and instrumentation cable, overhead line equipment and conductors, general low voltage products (including lighting).

We are seeking a PA to cover for maternity leave for 4 months. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of confidentiality, operate well under pressure, be highly organized and very computer literate, and be willing to go the extra mile


The overall purpose of the job is to provide a high level of personal assistance to the Financial Director and to provide secretarial and administrative assistance and support to other Managers within the department.


Duties:

  • Full administrative support for the FD and FM
  • Coordinating FD and FM's telephone (answering calls, receiving messages, channeling information and setting up conference calls)
  • Organising meetings including preparing agendas/documents and other arrangements
  • Diary management
  • Performing general office duties such as photocopying, filing and retrieving corporate documents.
  • Editing, organizing and preparing reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority and to provide refreshments as and when required
  • Performing host duties for the FD including tea and coffee making, obtaining gifts and other items
  • Processing and filing of price difference credits and various sundry direct invoices on the accounting program
  • Generate and maintain purchase orders on the accounting system
  • Administration of national traffic fines for ARB Group (payment, filing, and scheduling for deductions from payroll)
  • Acknowledgment of driver debt documents for ARB Group
  • National insurance claim administration and filing (liaise with insurance, panel beaters and staff from point of the claim until completion of such for ARB Group)
  • Administration of all female corporate uniform profiles, orders, and distribution
  • Administration of staff parking
  • Relief switchboard operator during breaks and assist with overflow calls
  • Planning, organizing and managing events when needed.
  • Handle all confidential documents and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Undertake any other duties which are consistent with the basic objectives and/or duties of the post
  • Creating of Xact Orders Monthly
  • Creating Marketing Invoicing – Monthly
  • Branch Structure Report
  • Consolidated report
  • Creating of Fedex Orders Monthly
  • Nedbank & Investec banking forms
  • Filing of monthly journals for the whole finance department
  • Grade 12 with a pass in Maths
  • Previous finance experience would be advantages
  • Exceptional administration & organizational skills
  • High knowledge of Microsoft Office – Work, Outlook , Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
