Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
Code EC driver's license
2 years' relevant experience in a fleet environment.
2 years relevant supervisory experience
Relevant experience in a Transport Environment

Primary Duties
Establish, monitor and maintain a quality transport service
Initiate follow up and corrective action regarding vehicle/plant damage/losses
Charge-out system correctly & effectively applied
Provide a full spectrum of fleet management and management service for Rand Water vehicles
Train and coach staff constantly
Fleet control management
Economical vehicle maintenance
Motivate budget requirements and needs
Ensure compliance with the financial regulations and standards of Rand Water
Ensure correct allocation of network numbers and budget
Comprehensive reports and advice

Knowledge
Working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act/Legislation and AARTO
Working knowledge of SHEQ
Computer literacy

Skills
Communication skills .
Administrative skills – Office duties, documentation, filling etc.
Problem solving skills.
