The Security Specialist will be responsible for the security necessary to support business needs which include:
Developing, implementing, and monitoring enterprise-wide initiatives to reduce information security risks promoting utilization of industry standards and best practices
Tracking violations of privacy and security
Identifying security trends and evolving technologies
Reporting information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements
Conduct and analyse data (Power BI & Advanced Excel)
Identifies gaps in design and operating effectiveness of controls and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
Communicating effectively with management about related information security issues and implications to the enterprise

Requirements:
Proven experience working in cybersecurity roles with a focus on defensive strategies and techniques
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, particularly in the areas of network security, endpoint security, and incident response
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex security incidents and develop effective response strategies
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
