Description

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the implementation of the TB surveillance Project in various clinics and the community under the AHRI Demographic Surveillance Site (HDSS). The incumbent will develop, implement, and coordinate research and administrative procedures for the successful management of the TB surveillance Project. The incumbent will also, when required, provide clinical care to research participants and ensure clinical governance standards are met in line with Good Clinical Practice guidelines. The role requires a professional with comprehensive technical knowledge related to TB research, who has an efficient and systematic approach, with the capacity to grow, learn and multitask

Requirements

Minimum Qualification

Degree in Nursing, Clinical Medical Practice or Social Science
Computer Literacy
Valid driver's license. Must be a confident driver.
Written and spoken fluency in English and isiZulu
Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods

Minimum Experience
Experience in clinical research.
A minimum of 2-3years' experience coordinating a project and supervising junior staff members.

Ability to document information accurately, methodically and pay attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and show initiative
Good Clinical Practise (GCP) certification
