Duties

  • Must run a shift on his own.
  • Must work shifts and overtime as required
  • To assist production to keep machines running.
  • Assist the EMSEC GOLDWING in maintaining machine safety and meet deadline as required
  • Must be able to repair machines without drawings
  • Basic knowledge of PLC and fault finding
  • Building of machine panels using one’s own knowledge/do own drawing
  • Installation work as required from time to time
  • Demonstrate good teamwork
  • Work effectively and cope with a pressurized environment
  • Weekly TPM2 to be done on time
  • Yearly Shutdown work as a norm
  • Basic Electronics fault finding
  • Have basic computer knowledge
  • Housekeeping on a Daily basis
  • Have sound knowledge of Electrical Fault Finding
  • Actively drive 5S in the workshop relating to electrical equipment, tools and materials.

Education/Experience:

N6 Electrical or minimum Qualified Artisan

Trade tested Electrician

5 years related experience in areas such as Preventative maintenance, machine breakdowns and safety systems.

Must have a sound working knowledge of PLC’s and Drives
