Job & Company Description:
Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, designs and implements innovative solar solutions in Midrand, South Africa, serving a rapidly growing market.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design, development, and optimization of solar projects. Key duties include creating detailed electrical schematics, conducting performance analyses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and solar specialists, to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with other project components. Additionally, the role involves hands-on testing and field assessments to refine and enhance project performance. This position requires strong analytical skills, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
  • A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on solar energy projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical design and solar energy systems.
