Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with SAICA accredited undergraduate degree and completed SAICA articles
  • 1+ years post-article experience in commercial audits
  • Strong MS Office proficiency required and CaseWare experience preferred
  • Valid drivers license and excellent communication skills
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing both tax and audit aspects
  • Take charge of all phases of audit engagements, from planning to execution and reporting
  • Skillfully allocate resources and plan staff assignments
  • Comprehensive reviews of audit files, tax returns and management reports
  • Produce meticulous documents, reports, and engagement files
  • Skillfully prepare annual financial statements in alignment with IFRS for SMEs
  • Daily supervision, guidance and leadership of audit staff and teams
  • Develop/coach and mentor junior audit staff
  • Client relationship management
  • Prepare management reports that highlight findings and recommendations
  • Regularly update progress reports
  • Prepare / monitor audit budget
  • Assess trainees using the SAICA EAT system
