Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accountability for Results:
    • Ensure all projects and activities have specified outcomes that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-defined.
  2. Change Focus:
    • Lead change management activities, including planning, implementing, and guiding individuals and teams through changes to minimize disruption and achieve successful outcomes.
  3. Client Service:
    • Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts and business growth.
  4. People Management and Development:
    • Oversee a team of employees, fostering their development to achieve organizational objectives.
  5. Teamwork and Co-operation:
    • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting teamwork and co-operation among team members.
  6. Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrate advanced technical expertise in auditing, with a deep understanding of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards.
  7. Risk Assessment:
    • Implement audit plans designed by the Internal Audit Manager, performing financial and operational audits and identifying business process risks.
  8. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports.
  9. Project Management:
    • Schedule projects/audits and allocate audit resources efficiently, improving audit procedures and processes.
  10. Reporting:
    • Report and communicate audit findings to audit committees, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in audit and assurance services, including managing large, complex engagements and expertise in IFRS.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and overseas teams.
