Accounts Receivable Controller

Are you prepared to advance your future? A dynamic Accounts Receivable Controller is sought after by a retail company.
As the Accounts Receivable Controller you will be responsible for the below:
- Manage your assigned customer portfolio to ensure accounts are current and accurate.
- Oversee invoicing, credit notes, receipts, collections, statements, and address any customer queries promptly.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and statement delivery.
- Drive cash collections from your customer base.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Accounts Receivable (AR) inquiries from team leads and other departments.
- Facilitate effective communication internally and externally.
- Assist in month-end procedures for the accounting team.
- Serve as the main liaison for auditors regarding AR matters for your designated customers.
- Review documentation for new customer approvals alongside the AR Team Lead and Finance Manager.
- Regularly review AR master data and escalate any issues to the master data team.
- Provide precise input to the AR Team Lead for cash flow forecasting.
- Maintain organized working files for your customers in shared drives.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the AR Team Lead with any ad-hoc requests as needed.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom in accounting and related field.
5+ years experience in a similar role in finance.
Manufacturing industry is advantageous
