Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the COO, CTO, and other executives to define and codify software quality standards, particularly focusing on banking-grade security and maintainability.

  • Work closely with various teams, including Project Office, Development, and Infrastructure, to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
  • Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage, and report on QA activities, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all product features and enhancements meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Research and recommend external partners and technologies to enhance QA processes and outcomes.
  • Establish consistent QA standards and processes aligned with best practices for delivering scalable, robust, and high-quality software.
  • Manage resource allocation and availability, ensuring productive use of resources to meet customer demand.
  • Foster effective internal communication within the QA team and across the organization.
Team Management Responsibilities:
  • Create an environment of psychological safety where team members can thrive.
  • Ensure the skills and experience of the QA team align with the engineering, technological, and business needs for current and future services.
  • Establish clear organizational structures and succession plans that align with growth expectations and team member development.
  • Provide support to team members, adhering to company values, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, completing required documentation.
Experience and Skills:
  • Deep and practical understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies, processes, and principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps tools and software.
  • Proven leadership skills, particularly in managing teams through transformation and change management processes.
  • Experience in implementing and adopting test automation within an organization.
  • Ability to drive and report on strategic QA initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Training or certification in DevOps and/or Agile methodologies.
Special Requirements:
