Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Equestrian experience is highly beneficial
  • Must be organically and eco-friendly inclined
  • Passion to grow the horse project
  • Must be proficient in English and understand or speak Afrikaans

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Caring for and maintaining the well-being of livery horses.
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of grooms.
  • Overseeing the inventory of supplies, feed, and medical treatments for horses.
  • Providing regular updates to livery owners about the status of their horses.
  • Conducting and participating in training sessions and lessons.
  • Managing and organizing outrides for clients.
  • Overseeing the equestrian facilities and providing feedback to the General Manager.
  • Managing a diverse range of livestock, including cattle, chickens, and fallow deer.
  • Gaining hands-on experience in farming practices, including soil management, water conservation, and handling bales.
