The Conveyancing Secretary will be working to support the conveyancer with a high volume of duties re Late Estates Transfers.

Duties include:
  • Document Preparation: Drafting, preparing, and managing conveyancing documents, including deeds of transfer, bond documentation, and property registration papers.
  • Liaising with Clients and Stakeholders: Communicating with buyers, sellers, banks, real estate agents, and attorneys to ensure the smooth processing of property transactions.
  • Filing and Registration: Ensuring that all documentation is filed with the relevant authorities, including the Deeds Office, and that registration procedures are followed accurately.
  • Managing Deadlines: Tracking key dates in the conveyancing process to ensure deadlines are met for property transfers and bond registrations.
  • Title Deeds and Property Searches: Conducting searches on properties, title deeds, and ownership records to ensure there are no issues with the transaction.
  • Administrative Support: General administrative duties such as handling correspondence, managing office files, and maintaining an organized filing system for legal documentation.
  • Billing and Payments: Managing client billing and ensuring payment processes are completed correctly, including bond settlements and property taxes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in ESTATE LATE transfers
  • Must be able to work volumes, under pressure and independently
