Leasing Administrator

Job Description: The Leasing Assistant will provide organizational and administrative support and will be responsible for all activities related to company leases, including analysing and negotiating of agreements, as well as finalising lease renewals with various landlords.

Key responsibilities: Maintains accounting records of all stores on database Assist with communication with landlords relating to renewals, closures, new stores, relocations, addendums, offers and leases when required Communication and negotiate with landlords on account related queries Complete other accounting tasks as needed Be available to attend to emergencies that may arise over weekends Responsible to assist with resolving any legal action in regards to lease agreements Assist with opening electricity accounts for new stores Prepare, submit and follow up on Tenant Installation Invoices from inception to receipt thereof Liaising with landlords, property managers and centre managers for various reasons including escalated maintenance queries Obtain, prepare and send offers and leases for new and existing stores, including the drafting of special conditions where needed Assist with any adhoc duties in the Leasing department based on operational requirements
